Amanda Krampf (Gaithersburg, Md./Gaithersburg) dished out 100 assists, and junior outside hitter
Lauren Thul (Flemington, N.J./Hunterdon Central) posted a pair of double-doubles to help Gettysburg to a split on day two of the Gettysburg Battlefield Classic on Saturday at Bream Gym. Elizabethtown downed the Bullets, 3-2 (26-30, 22-30, 30-25, 30-28, 15-9), in the day's early match, but the home squad rebounded for a five-set win over Seton Hill, 3-2 (30-25, 25-30, 30-25, 21-30, 15-12) in the final match of the tournament.

Steph Vial (Hanover, Pa./Delone Catholic) were each named the all-tournament team. Krampf averaged 9.62 assists per game for the tournament, while Vial averaged 5.59 digs and became the school's all-time digs leader on Friday night.
Gettysburg took the first two games from Elizabethtown (5-1), but the Blue Jays rallied for 30-25, 30-28 and 15-9 wins to take the match. In the first two games, the Bullets hit .378 and .448, respectively. Thul posted 17 kills, 13 digs and three block assists. Sophomore outside hitter
Meghan McConville (Eldersburg, Md./Liberty) and junior outside hitter
Katie Heffner (Easton, Pa./Easton) also reached double digits in kills with 15 and 14. Krampf dished out 48 assists, and Vial led five players in double-digit digs with 21. Senior middle hitter
Hillary Prutzman (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) paced the team with a solo block and four block assists, and classmate
Caitlyn Barr (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) added four block assists.
The day's second match was more back and forth, with Gettysburg taking the first, third and fifth games. Seton Hill (2-3) won games two and four. Krampf was credited with a career-high 52 assists in the match, setting up Heffner, who led the team 21 kills. She had only three errors on 43 swings to hit .419 for the match. Thul added 15 kills and 16 digs. Krampf picked up 16 digs to record a double-double, and Vial made 36 digs.
The Bullets will open their 2006 Centennial Conference slate on Tuesday when they travel to Bryn Mawr for a 7 p.m. match.
